Springfield Series #5 goes to Faddoul Khoury Twenty-one players made the trip to Bloomington for the fifth Springfield Series tournament! We had two new series players this month, Reggie Porter and Julius High. The weather cooperated for the most part and it turned out to be a great day for backgammon! Faddoul Khoury and Reggie Porter made it all the way to the Championship match. Faddoul was able to put Mr. Porter away and claim the big points! Congratulations to Faddoul. John Jennings and Randy Armstrong, both Springfield players, ended up battling for the Consolation round with John getting the win. Good job guys! Last Chance players were Gerry Tansey and Dave Settles. Gerry Tansey took the match. Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to everyone that made it to Bloomington.
